About Me
I'm a Calgary-based Cinematographer and AV Technician with a strong foundation in both visual storytelling and technical live production. My work is driven by the belief that every frame should serve a purpose and that the technology behind it should be invisible, seamless, and reliable.
After completing my Diploma in Film and Video Production at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, I've built experience across a wide range of production environments from large-scale live events and documentary series to corporate videography and narrative film.
As an AV Crew Member with BAPS Calgary, I operate and configure professional camera and AV systems for events with audiences exceeding 2,000 attendees. My responsibilities span multi-camera setups, signal routing, HDMI/SDI systems, Blackmagic ATEM switching, LED screen installation, and real-time troubleshooting handling the full production workflow from pre-production through final delivery. Working under live event pressure has sharpened my ability to solve technical problems quickly without disrupting the experience for clients or audiences.
On the cinematography side, I work as a Videographer and Editor at Magic Media Production, where I handle end-to-end video production across corporate events, concerts, and real estate showcases. I consistently deliver next-day highlight edits without sacrificing cinematic quality or narrative structure. I've also served as First Assistant Camera on a 10-episode documentary series, supporting the Director of Photography with focus pulling, lens management, camera configuration, and on-location adaptability.
As an editor, I bring strong instincts for pacing, emotion, and structure. My post-production experience spans narrative film, live event content, and documentary work using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer across multi-camera and color grading workflows.
